I Love Myself
A poem about self-love and self-affirmation
I love myself enough to understand that things will work out well. I love myself enough to understand that hard times will come but not to break me. I love myself, and therefore I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. I love myself enough to say that I am strong; I am brave and courageous; I can do all things as long as I have faith.
I love myself enough to look after myself, to look after my body, to look after my mind, to look after my feelings and to look after my emotions. I love myself enough to help myself grow as a person. I love myself enough to grow, not just physically but also emotionally and psychologically. I love myself enough to explore the world and beautiful things within it.
I love myself enough to tell myself that I am beautiful and to show myself that I am beautiful. I’d look in the mirror and admire myself, smile and thank the heavens for making such a beautiful and powerful being.
I love myself enough to remind myself that worth it, I am special, I am amazingly created. I love myself enough to encourage myself to work on my goals, my dreams objective.
